Sophie is looking to hop into her furever home!

Sophie is a very sweet well mannered girl most of the time however can have her moments. She is not shy in telling you off if you try to pick her up, she likes her feet firmly kept on the ground.

In saying that she is more than happy to get head scratches and ear rubs and loves the attention!

We believe Sophie would be best suited to a quiet home. She was very nervous when she first came into our centre to movements and sounds around her. Therefore she will need a patient owner who has the time to build up a bond with her and reassure her whilst adapting to her new environment.

Sophie could potentially live with older children (teens), however this would be on a case by case basis, the children would need to understand boundaries, respect her space and be animal savvy- understanding behaviours and signals of rabbits.

Rabbit's seek companionship, therefore we would are looking to rehome Sophie to a household that currently has another rabbit(s). Owners will need to have researched the bonding process of rabbits and happy to take on the work it entails and have a separate set up for Sophie during this process.

Sophie requires a minimum sheltered space of 3x2x2 metres to thrive and exhibit natural behaviours. She is a very clean bunny and uses her litter tray therefore would be a perfect free roam rabbit. If kept outside, rabbits need to be housed in a converted bunny shed to ensure plenty of room and shelter form the elements now we are coming into winter.
